Overnight Trip to Vegas Baby & Ears Pierced 11.16.2010

We took a trip down to vegas to pick Kari up from the airport.

We did some shopping at HOBBY LOBBY one of my favorite places ever!

and went to lunch with an old friend from beauty school.

We took Kapri to get her ears pierced. doesn't she look so excited?

What a brave Girl. Only cried for a second.

I know these photos are from October.

We celebrated Halloween on Friday the 29th. 

In the morning we went to Dixie Middle School to go trick-or-treating.

We walked around from room to room gathering goodies.

have you seen what they wear now a days at jr. high?....scary

 

Grandma & Grandpa came down to join us.

There was a baseball tournament going on that weekend, so Jon had to work.

 Later that night we went to the church for the Trunk Or Treat.

The Buzz Lightyear Costume was SO dirty after walking around in it all day.

I tried to wash and dry it before we went to the church, But it was still wet.
Cutler was exhausted anyways... so we just went as ourselves.

She was so sassy in her Princess and the Frog costume.

And on Saturday (the day Utah celebrates halloween if it is on a sunday) Jon and I were able to enjoy a date night while Grandma and Grandpa watched the kids.

5 Months

Kapri is 5 months old today!

She weighs 15.5 pounds

she is such a joy.

Happy Thanksgiving

For Thanksgiving we went to Weiser and spent some time with Jon's family.

Cutler had so much fun with his cousin's. We only get to see them about once a year, so it's always good to get together. It was FREEZING. But the cold did not bother the kids...

Nothing new going on in our life. Just the craziness of everyday stuff.

Sometimes I wonder if it is ever going to stop.

 I have felt a little overwhelmed lately, and I just need to relax and enjoy being a work at home mom. 

It is Christmas Card season, The busiest time of the year for my ETSY shop

so if you call and I don't answer, or text and I don't respond it is not because I don't love you.

It is because I didn't plug my phone in, and it's dead. -LOL-

At church we are getting ready for our Primary Program. I am really excited. I have been out of town the last two years, and I will be here for this one. I am excited to see all the hard work in action.

I love serving in the primary, the little one's have such strong testimonies, and are amazing examples.

Jon is in his last semester at school {WAHOO} and has been the top student in every one of his classes so far. What a smartie.

He tries to teach me stuff about electricity, how my brakes work, why my air conditioner stinks, etc. 

I try to learn, but it goes WAY over my head. He is still working out at the softball fields every night.   So we only get to see him for an hour or two a day, which starts to wear on us a little. I just keep telling myself "only a couple more month of this"

I love that he is loving what he is learning at school. he is so good at it.

My cute Mom & Dad, Aunts, and Grandma Rass stopped by the other week. I was suffering from a migraine, so I was not really feeling well. But it was so fun to see them.

We drove through Snow Canyon and had a picnic, then drove up to Pine Valley

I asked my friend Heather if she would help me make it

We sweated it out in her garage in 106 degree {or hotter} weather, and got it put together in an afternoon.

{pretty impressive, eh?}

It is now painted {with help from Katie} and hung {with help from Jon} YAY!

Now I just need to finish organizing :)

Blessing day & More

Thanks for everyone who came to Kapri's baby blessing.

Most of you had to travel far to come and we really appreciate it.

Jon gave Kapri a very nice blessing.

When I was getting Kapri dressed before church, Cutler could not stop talking about how pretty Kapri looked, and kept saying "Kapri's a princess" {so cute}

Other things we have been up to...

My Nephews came in town and it was still warm enough to go swimming.

so we did some of that

Kapri loves hanging out at the pool

We went up to Salt Lake for Sophi's blessing.

I took the kids to The Living Planet Aquarium in Sandy.

Cutler Loved it. He kept running around looking for Nemo, Marlin, & Dori

My family threw Shauna & I a really nice baby shower

{I have the best family and friends. Thanks for all of you who came}

Cutler loves to LOVE. He always wants to be touching, hugging, kissing, holding  Kapri.

Today he said "you are getting on my nerves" {i did not teach him that} it is so funny to hear that come out of a mouth of a two year old.

can you believe its been six years already?

I feel like like I just posted about our 5 year anniversary

Time goes by way too fast

Remember when Jon got me a lawnmower for our first year anniversary, 

and then he went out and mowed the lawn??

I was not too happy about that... LOL

it was a lot bigger then the place we live in now...

and Jon made it so nice.

I definitely don't miss the neighborhood!

Remember when Jon was driving home from seeing me at work, and the swat team was running around the neighborhood carrying M-16's because the one of our neighbors was being held hostage?

Or the creepy lady that we bought the house from that moved into the neighborhood next to us?
