Zoo Lights

I took the kids to see the lights at the zoo with my friend Emily and her kids. So many lights.
I would definitely recommend it. Gets you in the holiday mood.
Cutler was more interested in seeing the animals {not many out, as it was freezing, and a little rainy}.
Kapri ran around like she owned the place. and loved the train ride. She even learned how to say "Choo, Choo"
Kapri loved this Polar Bear. She kept wanting to tickle and pet it. Cutler was a little nervous.

Let it Snow

We will not have a white Christmas here in Portland,
so......we had to settle with throwing fake snow in the air.

Are you ready for Christmas? We are!

PDX Workshop

Last week I took a photography workshop in Portland by Shannon Sewell.
It was an amazing opportunity, and I was surrounded by talented people.
We did an all white shoot. I have always hated white in the past because of the lost detail, but this turned out awesome. {not so scared of white anymore.}

Cutler got new boots to go with his christmas outfit. The other night when I went to check on him, I didn't see the boots next to the bed. I pulled the sheets back, and he was sleeping with them on....
tags and all.

Visit from Santa

Santa came and visited us at Cutler's cousins house. It was AWESOME.
My favorite part of the video is when Cutler says "I've been naughty" At least he is honest right!

Eddie The Elf Has arrived

Our new family Tradition is Elf On The Shelf.
Cutler is at such a fun age, He is LOVING it.
Our Elf arrived at our house hanging from the kitchen light. The book was wrapped,
with a letter from Santa attached to the top.

When Cutler woke up in the morning, he came running into our bedroom "Mom, I got mail! and a present!" We read the story, and named him Eddie (yep. after Eddie Vedder.... you know Jon too well.)
This rag muffin could care less about the elf.

On day two, Eddie turned the kids and himself into Rudolf by adding red noses.
More to come from the adventures of Eddie The Elf.

A lil Scrap

I have not scrapbooked for fun in a long time.
I have been on creative teams for so long, I forgot what it was like to scrapbook for myself.
Hoping to get the kids books caught up and actually PRINTED. It is going to take me forever!
Here is my latest... A double page layout.

Nap Time

Nap time is my favorite time of the day. I get so much  Pintrest, Facebook, blog surfing work done when Kapri is asleep and Cutler is having his quiet time.

It's also pretty fun when they wake up :)
You know you have had a great nap, when you wake up and your hair looks like this...

Lights

Most of you know we live in a town house now.
So my neighbor asked if he could put christmas lights up on our side too.
I said OF COURSE!
We came home last night from playing at a friends,  and the Christmas lights were on.
Cutler was ECSTATIC!

Cutler: "Mom, who put the Christmas lights up?"
Me: "I think it was our neighbor"
Cutler: "No mom, I think it was SANTA!"

We are ready to deck to the halls at the Henrie house.

Sorry People... I'm still not over Halloween

I think this will be my last post about Halloween,
But I couldn't forget about Cutler's Pre-School Party.
Cutler Thought it would be cool to put his patch on for the pictures. That didn't go so well

A little bit of treats...

A few games....

Won some prizes...
Perfect little party.
Cutler is really enjoying pre-school, and is so smart!
If you have some free time, ask him about Dinosaurs.

We had enough hair for pig tails.... till I cut it off.
What was I thinking? They were so cute. Now she is looking a little boyish. is that even possible?
Most of you know how I feel about little girls and mullets. Even though the long hair in the back was fun and adorable. I cut it off, so it can all grow in thick and even.
Someone soothe me and tell me it will grow back quickly.

She is a doll, but such a stinker. Here she is picking though my make-up bag.

While we are on the subject of Kapri...

She says "No"
and likes to slap me in the face
Sometimes she pretends she is going to give me a kiss on the cheek, and then bites me.... seriously
Let's hope she grows out of these habits before she is a teen
She will pray..... Actually giggles through the whole prayer till she says AMEN.
Wonder where she gets that from (Grandma Kae)
She LOVES her brother. Calls him "Bop-Bop"
She says "I love you" and "Hi" if you call her on the phone
She loves to talk on the phone. More like babble. Her babbling is the cutest!
Hates vegetables, but loves fruit
Getting too big way too fast. Sometimes I pull her out of bed, and she has grown from the night before.
We love our little sister

Trick Or Treat

Happy Halloween!
I know I already did a post of my kids in their costumes. But they are too cute not to post again.
Here we are getting ready to go to the trunk or treat.
Cutler loved his 'stache, but he couldn't stop touching it. LOL
Surprisingly enough, Cutler was not too excited about the candy.
Kapri was.
She was all about free candy.

Jon had to work, so we talked Grandma and Grandpa into coming with us.
Jon did find some time to carve the pumpkins with Cutler. I am not a big fan of pumpkin guts.
They turned out awesome!
