Spaghetti

Why is it every time I cook spaghetti Kapri thinks it belongs on her face?

 seriously rubs it in her eyebrows

 "Hey mom, let me touch your camera?"................. no thanks!

Snow Day

Portland can't handle snow. Everything shuts down.

I am pretty sure we only have one snow plow for the 3 surrounding towns.

School was canceled. Cutler played outside ALL day.

Kapri even bundled up and ventured out for a little while.

 After going through about 4 pairs of soaking wet jeans, I remembered my Aunt sent me home with some snow pants for Kapri... I asked Cutler if he would feel bad if we went out in pink pants.

He didn't care, as long as he wasn't wet.

There is a story my mom likes to tell about me and hand-me-down snow pants...

When I was about 5, my mom was taking us out sledding. I have 3 older brothers. All we had in my size were boy snow pants. I would not be caught outside in boy pants.

I cried. My mom left me home and took all the boys sledding. I missed out on all the fun.

P-town Children's Museum

We love the Children's Museum. We got Cutler a pass for his birthday.

It will be a very fun rainy day activity.

We went when his cousins came in town.

They spent hours there, we had to drag them out.

Kapri loves shoes, she even has "shoe" in her small vocabulary.

What we do while Cutler is at Preschool

Christmas Break

I enjoyed my Christmas Break a little bit too much. It is hard to get back into the swing of life.

Loved having Jon home.

Loved the visit from my parents.

Loved the excitement of a 3 year old on Christmas morn.

We started the festivities out with Gingerbread houses.

Christmas Morning was exciting. Cutler woke the whole house up at 6:30

The kids were spoiled

 It was a Super Hero Christmas for Cutler.

 as you can see, he is really into spiderman...

 The kids got the cutest geography shirts from I Married Mr. Rogers

My Parents flew in the day after Christmas.

Cutler loves to cook, my mom made his apron and hat.

He has even said he wants to be a 'cooker' when he grows up.

 We then headed to the coast for New Years

I LOVE the coast.

 It was SO cold. We still went out and braved the beach

 Hiked to the top of the sand dune to do some whale watching, but it was too windy.

 Running down the dune is everyone's favorite part...

 We really enjoyed having Grandma and Grandpa come.
