24th of July

For the 24th We did fireworks
Cutler has a love/hate relationship with fireworks.
He loves the thought of them...
{next time you see him, ask him what noise a firework makes}
But they scare him to death........
{he ran through the garage, into his room & pulled up the blinds and
was much happier watching the from there}
Wanting to be inside...
The fireworks were not that loud, He plugs his ears when he is scared
Kapri hung out with Grandma susie inside. While we had some fun outside

He earned all his tools in one day!
We are on day 3 of no accidents. Seems too good to be true.
Little lady is doing good.
We were done with the Billie light on monday.
Hated that thing!
she sleeps good, and is a little angel except when I try to take her pictures... she better get used to it right :)

It's good to be home

We're home!
I could not have asked for a better labor and delivery
Everything went so smoothly
We were called into the Hospital at 11:15. I thought it was going to be a long day.
They broke my water around 12:30. Contractions were too strong for me to handle by 3:30, so they called the anesthesiologist and I got my epidural. I was so excited when I could still feel my legs, and could move my toes! When I had Cutler, I could not move at all.
At 6:00 I had progressed to a 6. Jon decided he was going to take Cutler for a walk around the hospital.
He asked before he left... "your not going to have a baby within the next hour are you?"
I was planning on the baby being there around 9:00
at 6:15 my epidural was starting to wear off, and the pressure was increasing.
I called my nurse, she checked me, I was completely dilated and ready to push.
We called Jon and told him to hurry back.
The doctor came in, I pushed twice, and then little Kapri was born.
My dad and emily had just gotten into town, and made it Just in time!
We were able to come home Sunday evening.
Kapri has jaundice so she has to be on a bilirubin light 24 hours a day
Cutler is in LOVE. He wants to kiss and hold her ALL the time.
He is the best big brother
He was holding her yesterday, and he said "Mom, Kapri has a flashlight on"
he also feels bad for her bellybutton. "Mom, Kapri's bellybutton is owie"
Yesterday we took her in to check her bilirubin count, and it had not gone down, I will be going in tomorrow again to get it checked. Hopefully it goes down, so she does not have to stay at the hospital.

About time for an update

The second weekend in June we went up to Alpine. Jon had some training he needed to get done for school, and it was the last week I could travel, so I went up and spent some time with my family.
Jon went missing the first night we were up there, and I had the whole state of Utah {highway patrol, city police, called all the hospitals} looking for him at 2:00 in the morning. He had a conference at a hotel, and automatically thought I understood that we would be staying the night. I had NO idea.  Around 2:00 my dad and randy drove out to the Hotel, and knocked on the door registered to him. Jon answered, and was REALLY surprised to see them standing at the door. We can laugh about it now, but it was a big misunderstanding on both ends.

The next morning, Jeff took the kids fishing.
They had WAY more fun feeding the ducks

We didn't catch any fish.
Jacob caught one after we left.

Still battling the Potty Training issue
Cutler got nice and comfy on his little toilet and took a nap...
used the rug as a blanket.

Here are some funny things Cutler has said recently

He was in the bath the other morning and tooted.
"MOM! I farted bubbles"

Today I was sitting on the couch,
He looks at my belly and says
"Mom, the baby is stuck, I fix it"
He runs into his room and comes back with a screwdriver.

He said the prayer all by himself at dinner
"Heavenly Father
Thank you for today
bless food
bless mom
bless daddy
bless trigger
amen"
